Fresh Sauce
To make our rich and velvety Marinara, Puttanesca, Tomato Vodka and Smoked Tomato sauces, we slowly simmer vine-ripened plum tomatoes with the best fresh ingredients and extra virgin olive oil. We cook and stir sauces anywhere from 2 to 4 hours before jarring. Allowing that kind of cooking time ensures the oil emulsifies (doesn’t separate from the water from the juice of the tomatoes) and all the flavors of the ingredients have married to perfection.
Our fragrant Pesto sauce is made with hand picked organic basil, pine nuts, Parmesan and Pecorino, fresh garlic, lemon, and first cold-press extra virgin olive oil.
We use only the finest aged cheese and hormone-free whole milk and cream to make our rich and creamy Alfredo and Basil Cream sauces.
Each jar of Cucina Fresca sauce is filled and labeled by a member of our culinary team. (Our jars are also great for re-use and are accepted by many local curbside recycling programs!)
